Many would moan in delight to see you fail.
Because they are failures.
But what about successful people?
Do they ever help anyone? Of course they do.
But why?
Think of yourself, why did you help people recently.
9 times out of 10 it's because someone paid you.
Lots of people think this is one step away from prostitution.
But what it really means "I value your help."
Once you start equating paying with someone helping you, a couple of things change.
1.
Have you ever had someone "help" you...and you really wish they wouldn't?
They're not on time, they're getting in the way, you have to redo their work.
They're fucking it all up basically.
It is essential you are critical about the help you are receiving, especially the kind you pay for.
2.
The help you give will also change because you'll realize that person paying you is saying "I value your help". You will also become critical about your efforts.
Because you will put importance on its effectiveness.
You will begin to hone your abilities on only the people you can help the most.
The more you help, the better you get, the better you get, the more valuable your help becomes.
This means more money for you and more money you can give.
